You should know how your monitoring software monitors.

The rules we do not bend.

1. Public pages only. The crawler reads what any visitor sees. It never logs in, never solves a CAPTCHA, never reads behind a password.
2. robots.txt is always respected. Read before any page; allow and disallow rules for EagleEnforceBot and for * are honored; Crawl-delay is honored; a disallowed path is never fetched, and a site that blocks monitoring is not monitored.
3. It identifies itself. Every request carries EagleEnforceBot/1.0 (+https://eagleenforce.com/bot). No proxies, no IP rotation, no browser impersonation.
4. One request at a time. One worker per domain, a minimum delay between requests, back-off on 429 and 503. Feeds are preferred to page crawling.
5. Checked before it starts. Preflight refuses sites that block bots. EU-hosted or EU-business sites are held for a human review before any read.
6. Marketplaces through the front door. eBay is read only through eBay's Buy Browse API, using EagleEnforce's own registered developer keys, so brands don't connect an eBay account. We honour eBay's marketplace account deletion notices. Amazon is read only through Amazon's Selling Partner API, under the authorization a brand grants from its own Seller Central account; the data stays in that brand's account, and if the authorization ends, Amazon monitoring stops rather than falling back to anything else. Walmart is read only through Walmart's Affiliate API, using EagleEnforce's own registered developer keys; it returns the price Walmart displays for an item and its seller, and we never read walmart.com pages to collect prices. We will never read a marketplace outside its official API.
7. Google is never scraped. Google publishes no API for other sellers' Shopping listings or prices, and reading its pages with a program is against its terms, so we do not, and we do not buy data from vendors who do. Instead, web search finds the sellers' own websites, which every Shopping listing links to, through a licensed search API, by UPC and part number; the prices then come from our own reads of those sites, with screenshots as evidence.
8. Site owners can opt out. A robots.txt rule or an email excludes a store. See our crawler page and the page for dealers.

Privacy

• We do not sell personal information and have never shared it as those terms are defined in the CCPA.
• We do not build cross-customer profiles of dealers, and customer data is never used to train models.
• On the public website, analytics is not loaded until you allow it. In the application, analytics and map services are not loaded until the applicable consent is given. Global Privacy Control is honored as an opt-out.
