A brand you carry uses EagleEnforce. Here is what that means.
EagleEnforce helps brands check the prices at which their own products are publicly advertised. If you received a notice, it came from the brand, using its MAP policy. This page explains what our crawler reads from your store and how to limit it.
What it reads
Public product pages and product feeds on your website, to find the brand's products and record the advertised price. It reads only what any visitor sees. It does not log in, does not read customer or order data, and does not read pages your robots.txt disallows.
What it never does
- Hide its identity. Every request is
EagleEnforceBot/1.0 (+https://eagleenforce.com/bot). - Use proxies, rotating addresses or browser impersonation.
- Read more than one page at a time from your store, or ignore a Crawl-delay.
- Scrape marketplaces.
How to limit or block it
Add rules to your robots.txt. They take effect on our next read of the file, at least daily.

To slow it down instead of blocking it:

About the notice you received
Notices are written and approved by the brand under its own MAP policy. EagleEnforce delivers them and records the outcome. Questions about the policy, the price or your dealer status should go to the brand. Questions about our crawler, or about data we hold about your business, can come to us at support@ecommeagle.com.
